Blissful Bathroom Design from Burlanes Interiors

December 2014

Your bathroom is no longer just somewhere to wash, it is a sanctuary, a place to retreat from the rest of the household and grab precious moments to unwind and relax.

When Burlanes design and create a bathroom we maximise the available space ensuring the client has their very own luxury spa retreat. We help create boutique hotel style bathrooms with hand built fitted furniture, free standing baths, Aqualisa products, monsoon showers, wet rooms and beautiful floor to ceiling tiling.

In our latest bathroom installation in Kent the clients had both travelled extensively and the brief was for a modern, hotel-style bathroom. However it was important that the room remained in keeping with the house, which has its origins in the 17th Century. Burlanes had to be creative with the space, which included exposed, structural wooden beams.

"We wanted the bathroom to have a real 'wow factor' and it has totally exceeded our expectations" - Mr Ingram

Here's how we achieved a luxury bathroom retreat for our clients:

Custom built bathroom furniture with moulded sink and spray matte finish, pull down laundry bucket and heated glass mirror cupboard to prevent any steaming up!

Unique towel rail from our designer range of bathroom fittings.

Deep free standing bath. The perfect place to soak in style!

Monsoon shower with stone resin shower tray.

Built in niche next to the bath for beauty products, candles or to rest a glass of wine while having a soak!

Ceramic flooring from Silverlion with a weathered board look.

"We absolutely adore the floor tiles, which have a 'washed' wooden effect. They're stunning to look at and they really help to connect a modern bathroom with an old house"

Bathroom

Looks fab and so similar to a scheme I've just put together for a client - an excellent way to use sloping ceilings!
