What to expect from your virtual design appointment

Things are a little different right now, and like many others, we have had to adapt and make changes to how we operate throughout our business in response to Coronavirus.

Both Burlanes Sevenoaks and Burlanes Chelmsford are welcoming virtual design consultations via video call, so you are able to experience our unrivalled design service and immersive showroom experience from the comfort of your own home.

Your virtual appointment will take place via Zoom video call; your Burlanes designer will send you a unique link to access the platform after your initial telephone consultation, at a time that is convenient for you. Here is what to expect from your virtual design appointment with Burlanes:

• Your designer will give you a virtual tour of our studio, showcasing the quality and craftsmanship of our furniture.
• Just like you would expect from our in-store design service, your designer will be on hand to answer any questions you may have, chat through your wishlist and requirements, and digitally show you previously completed projects for inspiration.
• You will also be shown your CAD drawings of your bespoke furniture design, which will be spoken through in detail, including samples of paint, worktops, ironmongery, tiles and appliances. We will also arrange for any relevant samples to be delivered to you at home.

We are very proud of the unrivalled design service we offer, and despite you not being able to visit us in person, you will have your own dedicated designer as your main point of contact throughout your project with Burlanes.

Our workshop is still fully operational, with all necessary precautions in place to ensure a safe workspace for all staff, we are still carrying out home surveys and installations too, in accordance with the government's guidelines on 'working in other peoples' homes'.
